Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to bring a partner?

No. Line dancing, essentially, does not require partners. You can come alone, but you can also bring your friends if you want to learn line dancing with people you are already familiar with.

What kind of shoes should I wear?

You can start out with whatever you have available for now. However, we recommend that you bring separate shoes for dancing to keep them clean and dry. The best shoes are those that lace or buckle. This keeps them on your feet without your toes needing to grip them. Slip-ons are not recommended.

What kind of clothes should I wear to class?

Dress in comfortable clothes. If this is your first dance class, you should be as comfortable as you possibly can. We recommend lightweight clothes, but you might want bring a cardigan sweater or light-weight jacket you can slip off during class.

Are you a competitive studio?

Yes, we do have a competitive team, which is by invitation only. However, we focus more on the proper dance technique for our students, no matter if they competitive or recreational dancers.
